Uber introduces 5 new checks in attempt to get ban lifted

Uber taxi services, which has been banned in Delhi after one of its drivers was arrested for allegedly raping a woman passenger, has come up with an 'India specific security narrative', reports CNN-IBN

They are introducing police and document verification, background checks, incident response team and in-app safety features.
