Maha govt to probe Sanjay Dutt's furlough

The Maharashtra government will investigate a 14-day furlough granted to actor Sanjay Dutt, who was jailed in connection with the 1993 blasts.

Dutt was granted furlough on December 23. He was spotted at a special screening of PK, which features him in a pivotal role.

He is serving his sentence in the Yerawada jail in Pune in a case related to the 1993 Mumbai blasts. He is serving 42 months of his sentence starting May 2013. He has spent over 118 days out of jail either on parole or furlough from May 2013 to May 2014.
