Assam bandh today to protest against tribal killings

The Assam Tea Tribes Students' Association has given a call for a 12-hour state bandh today in protest against the massacre of over 70 tribals by militants of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland over the past 24 hours.

The bandh is also against the police atrocities on the Adivasi protestors in Dhekiajuli yesterday.
