US cinemas to screen Sony film on Christmas Day

Sony Pictures has announced that The Interview will be given a limited theatrical release in the US on Christmas Day.The move comes just a week after the company cancelled its release after suffering a devastating cyber attack.

Sony Chairman Michael Lynton said he was 'excited' that the comedy, about a plot to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, would now be seen.
