At least three people were injured in a bomb blast triggered Monday evening by suspected Bodo insurgents in Assam's Kokrajhar district, police said.

The grenade blast took place in Patgaon, Inspector General of Police L.R. Bishnoi said.

It probably triggered by the National Democratic Front of Bodoland opposed to peace talks with the government, he said.

The injured were taken to a hospital.

In a separate incident, two grenades were also found in Gossaigaon in Kokrajhar district, which is part of the troubled Bodoland Territorial Area Districts.
