Rajya Sabha adopts resolution condeming Lakhvi's bail

Rajya Sabha today adopted a resolution condemning bail to Mumbai attack mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi and expressed concern over Pakistan's "apathetic attitude".

The move came as the Pakistani government prosecutor said today he had been forced to delay his appeal against a court order which grants bail to Lakhvi.

A judge in an Islamabad anti-terror court last week granted bail to Lakhvi, a decision that triggered a furious response from New Delhi.
