A Sampath, a Communist Party of India-Marxist member from Kerala, today felt uneasy in the Lok Sabha while he was protesting and had to be rushed to a dispensary in the Parliament premises.

52-year old Sampath was diagnosed with the problem of cough and exertion and was discharged soon after. The member felt unease when he was in the Well along with other members shouting slogans.

He was vociferously alleging that the mike of Leader of Congress Mallikarjun Kharge had been switched off. Thereafter members accompanied him to the nearby seat and a doctor attended to him.

Ministers Harsh Vardhan and Jitendra Singh, who are themselves doctors, were seen asking Sampath about his condition.
