America's picturesque state Hawaii is keen on collaborating with Indian cinema and inviting Indian filmmakers to shot films, US Congress member Tulsi Gabbard said in Panaji today.

The Democrat representative from Hawaii was in city on a day-long visit to meet the Governor and Chief Minister.

"India has a very exciting film industry and I think this is an area where we can collaborate to bring Indian films to be shot in Hawaii because we have scenic vistas that can be used for these films," Gabbard said.

She said many popular TV shows, big projects like Jurassic Park and other films have been shot in Hawaii.
