5 Naxals surrender in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada

Five Maoists, carrying cash rewards on their heads, surrendered in the insurgency-hit Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh, police said today.

The cadres turned themselves in before police last evening, citing disappointment with the movement, exploitation of lower rank rebels and women by senior Naxal leaders, Dantewada Superintendent of Police Kamlochan Kashyap said.
