One armed hostage taker inside Sydney cafe

A major police operation was under at the Lindt Chocolate Cafe in Sydney.

NSW Police chief Andrew Scipione: We have an armed offender in the premises holding an undisclosed number of hostages."

There has been no contact between the police and the hostage taker.
