Indian may be among Sydney cafe hostages, says Venkaiah

Journalist Chris Reason from 7NewsSydney says: "We can see the faces of hostages - pained, strained, eyes red and raw. One young man with head in hands. Food is being delivered to the hostages. Staff bringing it out from kitchen at back. We've counted around 15 hostages - not 50 - mix of women, men, young, old - but no children."

Venkaiah Naidu says that an Indian IT professional may be among the hostages.
