The man holding hostages in the Sydney cafe demanded that an ISIS flag be delivered to him, sparking speculation that he made a mistake in the choice of his flag.
A shahada flag -- a profession of faith in Islam -- read, "There is no god but Allah; Mohammed is his messenger" was held up by the hostages.
The gunman has now demanded an ISIS flag and that he be connected to Australia PM Tony Abbott.
