A petrol bomb was today hurled by unidentified men at a polling station in the Gulmarg constituency of Baramulla district in Kashmir, where polling is underway in the third phase of elections in the state.

The bomb was hurled at a booth in the early hours today. No casualties were reported in the incident, police said.

Barring this incident, polling in all 16 constituencies spread across Budgam, Pulwama and Baramulla districts of the state, has been peaceful.

Security arrangements in the three districts have been strengthened in the wake of Friday's violence, where 21 persons, including 11 security personnel and eight militants, were killed in four incidents in the Valley.
