The Madras High court today relaxed all bail conditions for former union minister M K Alagiri's son Durai alias Dayanithi in connection with an illegal granite mining case. Allowing his petition, Justice G.Chockalingam relaxed all the conditions but directed Dayanidhi to cooperate with police during the investigation.

The court had imposed some conditions on Dayanithi when it granted him anticipatory bail on November 22, 2013 in connection with the multi crore-rupee illegal granite mining case.

Dayanithi submited he was complying with the conditions without fail. Being a movie producer, he was subjected to 'serious prejudice' and unable to make himself sure of the travel itinerary due to the present condition, he said.
