Rajya Sabha logjam has ended-thanks to the mediatory and statesman-like role played by chairman Hamid Ansari between the government and the Opposition; and between parties in the Opposition.

Ansari has expressed his dissatisfaction over the waste of Parliamentary hours over the sadhvi's abusive rant and the abrupt ending of the proceedings without making the government accountable.

The draft resolution was corrected, redrafted and finally approved at the chambers of the chairperson.
