Undercover reporter under fire in UK

Britain will re-examine 25 convictions secured through evidence provided by an undercover British reporter, famous for sting operations including the 2011 spot-fixing scandal that nailed three Pakistani cricketers, due to doubts over his reliability as a witness. 

Mazher Mahmood, also known as the "Fake Sheikh" because of an identity he assumed during several of his investigations, has secured many high-profile convictions in Britain including on drug charges involving celebrities and sporting figures.
