Uddhav, family meet Maharashtra governor

Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray today called upon Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai today.

"It was a courtesy meeting," an official from the Governor's office said.

Rao had invited Uddhav and his family members for lunch, the official added.

Governor's wife Vinodha Rao, Uddhav's wife Rashmi and their sons Aditya and Tejas were present on the occasion.

Uddhav presented a copy of the book 'Fatkare' which is a compilation of late Sena supremo Bal Thackeray's cartoons, to the Governor.

Incidentally, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today formally announced participation of Sena, which has been in opposition, in his government.
