Gopinath Munde death: CBI files chargesheet against 'negligent' cabbie

Just in: CBI files chargesheet against taxi driver Gurvinder Singh for 'rash driving and causing death by negligent driving' in Gopinath Munde's death.

Munde, a popular Bharatiya Janata Party leader from Maharashtra, was on his way to the Indira Gandhi International airport June 3 when his car was hit by another vehicle at the Prithviraj Road-Tughlak Road roundabout in Lutyens' Delhi.

Munde died due to shock and haemorrhage following injuries to his neck and liver in the accident.

Delhi Police registered a case against 32-year-old driver Gurvinder Singh, whose car hit Munde's vehicle.
