Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan is upset with her AIADMK colleague Thambidurai, the deputy speaker of the Lok Sabha, we hear. Mahajan feels that the deputy speaker's office should not interfere in the internal party matters of the AIADMK.

What happened was that the Speaker had received a letter from Thambidurai asking for more office space inside Parliament House for the AIADMK. Mahajan was also upset that Thambidurai has been appointed as election agent of the AIADMK for the Trichy district.

She feels, we are told, that Thambidurai should refrain from the internal politics of the AIADMK.

AIADMK party leader Venugopal has been told to give the letter for the AIADMK office as Sumitra Mahajan did not consider an application from Thambidurai valid.
