Modi's 1st ever meet with all CMs on Dec 7 to discuss Planning Commission

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a meeting with all chief ministers on December 7 to discuss the future of the Planning Commission. The Nehruvian institution was scrapped by the PM in during his Independence Day speech. Modi had said the Planning Commission had outlived its utility and needed to be replaced with a new one. This meeting will be the PM's first meeting with the chief ministers since he assumed office.
