Australia captain Michael Clarke steps forward to deliver his tribute. He takes a deep breath before starting his speech. However, a few words into his tribute, starts to weep, saying that Hughes would 'definitely call him a sook right now. "His spirit has touched the game and the SCG will forever be a sacred ground for me. His spirit has brought us closer together and it must have been something about how he lived and breathed," says Clarke.

Th Oz captain speaks on the outpouring of grief from around the world, the bats that were put out in all corners of the globe. "This is what makes our game the greatest game in the world. Phillip's spirit, which is now part of our game forever, will act as a custodian of the sport we all love. We must listen to it, we must cherish it, we must learn from it, we must dig in, ... we... must dig in and get through to tea. And we must play on. So rest in peace, my little brother, I'll see you out in the middle."
