Just in: Union minister sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti remains combative after her apology. She said there is no question of he quitting from the government. Maafi mangne ke baad koi question nahin hota. Main sant hoon, sant hone ke naate bhi maafi mangti hoon, main jhukne ke liye tyaar hoon. (There is no question (of quitting) after my apology. I have apologised despite being a saint. I'm ready to concede further.)

The BJP has also backed her saying there is no question of her resigning. "If the opposition wants, they can lodge an FIR," the BJP said.
