Case lodged against Sharad Yadav for his remarks against Manjhi

A case has been filed against Janata Dal-United president Sharad Yadav in Bihar on Monday for his alleged remarks against Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi regarding his caste, the police said.

Lok Janshakti Party leader Vishnu Paswan has filed a case against Yadav in Patna for calling Manjhi's a musahar (rat eater).

"I have filed a case against Yadav for hurting the sentiment of Dalits by saying that Manjhi, a musahar is not qualify to become the prime minister of the country as he is not literate," Paswan told the media.
