Policeman wounded as militants attack police post

Militants shot and critically wounded a police officer outside the office of the district magistrate Anantnag in south Kashmir this afternoon.

A senior officer said militants shot constable Fayaz Ahmad in the head and fled. fayaz was immediately evacuated to Srinagar for specialised treatments.
