Rape accused Maharashtra top cop Paraskar suspended

IBN reports: Deputy Inspector General of Mumbai Police Sunil Paraskar was suspended on Wednesday after Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan on Wednesday signed his suspension papers.

Paraskar has been accused of rape and molestation by a city model.Earlier in the day, the state home department had proposed his suspension.
