Husband of national level shooter Tara Sahdev arrested

IBN reports:In a breakthrough in the alleged forcible conversion case, a joint team of the Delhi and Jharkhand Police arrested the husband of national level shooter Tara Sahdev.

Ranjit Kohli alias Raqibul Hasan was arrested from Dwarka in Delhi.Sahdev had accused Kohli of misleading her into marriage on a fake identity and then forcing her to convert to Islam.Following the incident, right-wing outfit Vishwa Hindu Parishad had held massive protests across Jharkhand.

The home ministry had sought a report over the matter.
