The BJP's Parliamentary Board is the highest decision-making body of the party. The party's parliamentary board consists of the BJP president and 10 other members, one of whom shall be the leader of the party in Parliament. On August 16, party chief Amit Shah named a new team of party's national office-bearers, but held back announcement about the new parliamentary board.

Old-timers like Advani, Vajpayee, MM Joshi, have been given another platform called the Marg Darshak Mandal, but in effect, they have been dropped from the major decision-making body in the party.
