Mozilla, known for its Firefox browser, today unveiled the Cloud FX, billed at India's cheapest smartphone, which it may well be considering it's being sold for just Rs 1999 (roughly US $ 33).

Adage.com reports that the phone packs 128 MB of RAM, a 2-MP camera and one giga hertz processor. Naturally, Cloud FX will run on Mozilla OS.

The phone went on sale today on snapdeal.com, weeks after China's Xiaomi MI3 was sold on rival Flipkart. The phone is manufactured by the Delhi-based Intex Technologies, and marks Mozilla's first foray into Asia, Adage.com reports.
