CBI notice to Mayawati in DA case, gets three weeks to reply

The Supreme Court has issued a notice to former Uttar Pradesh CM Mayawati in connection with the disproportionate assets case against her and given her three weeks to respond to it.

The Supreme Court had on July 6, 2012 quashed the nine-year-long disproportionate assets case against the BSP leader and had pulled up CBI for exceeding its jurisdiction by lodging an FIR against her without any direction from it.
