MNS chief not to contest state polls

After announcing himself to be the chief minister candidate for his party the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, Raj Thackeray today announced that he will not be contesting the polls. "I have decided not to contest polls myself now," said the MNS chief. Earlier, Thackeray was weighing the options of contesting either from Mahim, which includes Shivaji Park area, where he resides, or Nashik.
