Don't want awards, want justice: Meerut victim, who attacked goons on road

Mamata Yadav, the woman caught on camera beating up goons after they attacked her and husband in Meerut, is now alleging that she is being targeted by the Samajwadi Party. Yadav said that the SP government has been pressurising her to change her statement, as one of the accused in the crime is the son of a SP leader. "I am time and again called to the police station and being asked questions and treated like the accused. I have not done anything wrong, then why am I being treated liked a criminal?" Following the incident, the state government had announced a Rs 1 lakh award for her bravery. However, slamming the award, she said that she didn't want an award but wanted justice.
