An easing of hostilities? Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda called on the PM today, just three days after he was booed at a rally where both them shared a stage, forcing him to vow that he would never share a dais with the PM again.

Hooda is understood to have discussed with Modi issues related to his state.

Hooda, a Congress leader, was left fuming as a hostile crowd hooted at a function in Modi's presence in Kaithal in Haryana. Upset at the jeering, Hooda said he will not attend any function of the Prime Minister or union ministers if the Haryana BJP leadership did not change its attitude. Hooda was booed in the presence of Modi at a stone-laying ceremony at Kaithal, Haryana. Thereafter, the Congress leadership has asked party chief ministers to draw 'protocol lakshman rekha' whenever Modi visits their states. A Congress leader said the decision was taken after the leadership and some CMs felt "Modi is stage-managing humiliation of Congress chief ministers during their joint appearances". Hooda has said he would never allow his workers to 'do something like this."
