Asked about taking part in elections, Mirwaiz said that if they do so then it becomes law and order problem. "We are trying for a resolution of the Kashmir problem," Mirwaiz said.

He denied that Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif had asked that talks be held with APHC leaders through the Pakistan High Commissnor in Delhi.
