RBI's forex reserves fall by $643.3 million

Foreign exchange reserves fell by $643.3 million for the week ending August 8 to $319.35 billion, according to Reserve Bank of India (RBI) data released Friday.

Foreign currency assets, a key component of reserves fell by $646.7 million to $292.05 billion. Gold reserves remained unchanged during the week at $21.17 billion.
