August 13, 2014  17:57
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a two-pronged strategy for his much-awaited speech from Red Fort on August 15.  Rediff.com's Sheela Bhatt reports from New Delhi that, a source in the government has said that, "Modi would connect very well with entire India through his speech. He will give ehsas (feel) of change. The change has arrived but the prime minister will explain how. He said he will show how change is taking place and now he will be able to convince people about it.

Already, New Delhi is under siege with a security vigil all over. Modi has rejuvenated interest in a largely ceremonial I-Day speech.

There is a huge demand for VIP passes. The source said there wont any earth-shaking announcement, but people would know what the Modi government is doing and how things will be achieved, eventually.
