Pakistan violates ceasefire again

Update on the ceasefire violation in J-K:

One army trooper was wounded in firing by the Pakistan army today. The ceasefire violation occured in the Bhimber Gali secotr of Poonch district in Jammu region this morning.

Wednesday's ceasefire violation came a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused Pakistan of indulging in a proxy war against India since it had lost the strength to fight a conventional war.

A defence spokesperson said the Pakistan army carried out unprovoked firing using small arms and automatic weapons. An army spokesperson said that Indian troops gave a befitting reply using weapons of similar caliber.
