Maya: Will fight elections alone, no question of tying up with Mulayam

BSP chief Mayawati has rebuffed Mulayam Singh's attempt at forging an alliance saying there is no question since "Mulayam only believes in the politics of opportunism." She said she would not consider the offer and would continue to fight elections alone.

Mulayam had said that if Lalu hold's Mayawati's hand and brings her, he was ready to to tie-up with the BSP.

The SP chief was responding to Lalu's recent suggestion that Mulayam Singh Yadav and Mayawati should also join hands in Uttar Pradesh to defeat the BJP in the same way as he has allied with his bitter foe Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (U) in Bihar.
