Sonia attacks Modi: 600 communal violence incidents in 11 weeks

Congress president Sonia Gandhi launches what is easily her first attack against the Narendra Modi government since the 2014 polls. Speaking at a rally Thiruvananthapuram, Sonia said that there were 600 incidents of communal violence in the first 11 weeks of the Modi government, while there were hardly any incidents of communal violence during the UPA regime.

Sonia, for now, seems to be leading from the front, after deciding to hold Rahul back and let the senior leaders continue to exercise their influence over the organisation.
