NO Khel Ratna Award for 2014

The Khel Ratna award will not be conferred on any sportsperson for 2014. The selection committe does not recommend any sportsperson for the award, say TV reports. Vikas Gowda, Krishna Poonia and Somdev Devburman's names had been recommended. Last year, shooter Ranjan Sodhi (pictured) won the award.

The Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna is India's highest honour given for achievement in sports.
