Statements made by AAP and BJP smack of desperation: Shazia Ilmi

Former Aam Aadmi Party leader Shazia Ilmi has said she was "talking to representatives of different parties" and was open to a return to politics.

Ilmi, however, didn't specify which political party she was leaning towards, but said that since her exit from the AAP in May, neither her or the "AAP leadership' had been in contact with each other.

Ilmi, who contested unsuccessfully from on an AAP ticket in both the Lok Sabha and Delhi Assembly elections, had quit the party alleging "lack of inner party democracy for a party that preaches Swaraj'. Read more
