The BJP government is all set to expose the Congress by summoning a
joint sitting of both houses over the Insurance Bill. Politically, the BJP wants that the Congress defeat the Insurance Bill in the Rajya Sabha since this will enable the BJP and the floor managers to approach the President
of India for a joint sitting of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha and get it passed. A notice of three working days is enough to summon a Joint Sitting of Parliament.
