Priyanka takes jibe at Modi for 'yeh dil maange more' slogan

Priyanka Gandhi today took a dig at Narendra Modi for invoking a Kargil martyr's slogan of 'Yeh dil maange more' to pitch for 300 seats for the NDA, saying while the BJP leader does not get tired of asking for votes from people, the Congress seeks to empower them.

Sitting among women while campaigning for her brother Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka said, "I read in newspapers there is a leader from a political party who says 'yeh dil mange more'. He is asking for it again and again. He does not get tired."

As her remarks drew laughter from the women, she said, "But we are saying we do not want anything from you. We want you to become vigilant, realise your potential and be empowered."
