BSP chief Mayawati casts her ballot in Lucknow

Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati is among the early voters in Lucknow.

"I appeal to the Dalits and the weaker sections of society to come out and vote. Dalits have got their voting rights after a long struggle by Ambedkar," she said after casting her ballot.

"People will vote for change," she added. "The Modi wave has been created by the media."
