No relief for Giriraj Singh; Bokaro court rejects anticipatory bail
April 28, 2014  13:59
A court in Bokaro, Jharkhand on Monday rejected anticipatory bail to BJP leader Giriraj Singh in a case related to making hate speeches during election campaigning.

Last week, the Patna Civil Court had granted anticipatory bail to the BJP leader over his remark that critics of BJP's prime ministerial hopeful Narendra Modi will be sent to Pakistan.

However, Singh has not received any relief from the court in Jharkhand's Bokaro.

Two separate FIRs were lodged against him in Jharkhand one in Bokaro and another in Deogarh - for making an inflammatory speech during the campaigning for the General Election.

Giriraj Singh is BJP's Lok Sabha candidate from Nawada constituency
