29 pc voter turnout in Rajasthan in initial hours

An average of 29 per cent voting was registered during the initial hours today on the second polling day of Lok Sabha election in 5 parliamentary constituencies in Rajasthan.

Alwar registered 30.59 per cent voting till 1130 hrs followed by Dausa at 30 per cent.

Tonk-Sawaimadhopur, Bharatpur, and Karauli-Dholpur recorded 29.17, 27.23 and 25.46 per cent respectively.

Altogether 81 candidates including 10 women are in the fray in the 5 constituencies in the second phase. Polling in 20 constituencies out of total 25 seats took place in the first phase on April 17.
