Non-bailable warrant against Giriraj Singh for hate speech
April 23, 2014  09:29
A non-bailable warrant has been issued against Bihar Bharatiya Janata Party leader Giriraj Singh today.

He has been under fire for his inflammatory remarks stating that "critics of Narendra Modi will have to go to Pakistan after the BJP is elected".

The Election Commission has banned him from campaigning in Bihar and Jharkhand.

Condemning the remarks, BJP's PM hopeful tweeted yesterday, "Petty statements by those claiming to be BJP's well wishers are deviating the campaign from the issues of development & good governance."
