LIVE! I hereby declare: Bappi Lahiri's wife owns more gold than him

Known for always sporting flashy gold chains, veteran Bollywood musician Bappi Lahiri's wife owns more jewellery than hubby and he owns moveable and immoveable assets worth nearly Rs 12 crores besides five cars including BMW and Audi.

According to Bapi's affidavit filed with the Election Commission, he owns 754 gram gold jewellery worth Rs.17,67,451 while his wife Chitrani has 967 gram gold ornaments worth Rs.20,74,830.Bollywood's 'Disco King' Bappida', who is contesting Lok Sabha polls on a BJP ticket from Serampore, also owns silver ornaments and bullion of 4.62 kg worth Rs.2,20,000.

His wife has 8.9 kg silver worth Rs.3,59,600 and 3.2 diamond carats estimated to be valued at Rs.4,27,353.
