'TMC' workers attack poll officials in Malda

Officials of the Election Commission were attacked in West Bengal's Malda district today, allegedly by workers of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress party.

The incident, that comes days after a standoff between and the poll panel over transfer of some officials, happened in Manikchak area reportedly after the EC team objected to a rally of the party's candidate from Malda South.
