Union minister for commerce and industry Anand Sharma on Narendra Modi's marital status: Humari parampara nahi kuch bhi ashobhniya kehna, mubarakbaad de di, acchi baat hai, pheli baar pata chala. (It is not in our culture to say something unsavoury, I have congratulated him, it's a good thing, but this is the first time I've heard of it.)

Narendra Modi has for the first time declared himself as a married man by revealing his wife's name as Jashodaben in an affidavit filed before the Election Commission.
