Dying declaration doubtful if someone else dictates it: SC

The Supreme Court today held that credibility of a dying declaration comes under "suspicion" if it is not in the "actual words" of the victim and has been dictated by somebody else. "Sanctity is attached to a dying declaration because it comes from the mouth of a dying person.
